Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) creates superficial micro-channels which can be used with topical gels, serums and/or PRP (platelet-rich plasma) to help improve the appearance of the skin. PRP Therapy is a procedure in which PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is drawn from your own blood to be used for medical treatments including micro-needling. PRP is useful in cell restoration and in speeding up the healing process. The result is youthful, rejuvenated skin. PRP skin rejuvenation is commonly applied topically during micro-needling but can also be injected.
